Matt Brouillette has spent decades fighting for freedom in Pennsylvania. As the founder of Commonwealth Partners and the former leader of the Commonwealth Foundation, Matt has seen firsthand why policy victories cannot be separated from political strength. His new book is both a warning and a roadmap: if freedom-loving Americans want to save the country, they must start by winning Pennsylvania—and they must invest in the infrastructure capable of making that victory durable.

Commonwealth Partners exists to help make that possible. By organizing entrepreneurs and civic-minded leaders, Commonwealth Partners brings strategic focus, resources, accountability, and long-term execution to the battles that will shape Pennsylvania’s future—and America’s.

Commonwealth Partners has spent the past decade proving that disciplined strategy and sustained investment can change outcomes in Pennsylvania. From expanding education freedom to holding elected officials accountable after Election Day, Commonwealth Partners’ work shows why engaged entrepreneurs are essential to winning the policy and political fights that determine whether freedom can endure.

Matt Brouillette is the Founder, President, and CEO of Commonwealth Partners Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based organization built to engage entrepreneurs and business leaders in the fight for freedom, prosperity, educational opportunity, and accountable leadership.

Before founding Commonwealth Partners in 2016, Matt served for fourteen years as President and CEO of the Commonwealth Foundation for Public Policy Alternatives, where he helped grow the organization from a small free-market think tank into a major force in Pennsylvania policy. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in Michigan and spent seven years teaching history and coaching football and baseball at the middle and high school levels.

Matt’s work is rooted in a simple conviction: ideas matter, but ideas must be paired with political capacity, entrepreneurial execution, and disciplined investment. You GOTTA Win Pennsylvania! reflects that conviction by calling on entrepreneurs to bring the same urgency, strategy, and courage to the civic arena that they bring to building businesses.

Over the past decade, Commonwealth Partners has helped reshape Pennsylvania’s political and policy landscape through strategic investments in building a durable freedom infrastructure that includes policy think tanks, strategic litigation, and aggressive political action. Its work has focused especially on education freedom, both because opportunity for children is foundational and because school choice often reveals whether policymakers will stand strong against entrenched special interests.

One example of Commonwealth Partners’ impact is the more than $2.5 billion that has been directed toward nearly 540,000 scholarships over the last ten years, giving hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania children access to better educational options and brighter futures. And this was accomplished in the face of hostile Democratic governors and legislators.

Commonwealth Partners’ model is designed to be different from traditional political and policy operations. The organization emphasizes data-driven discipline, strategic engagement, accountability beyond Election Day, policy change rather than mere electoral wins, superior donor value, and long-term thinking across multiple election cycles.

That approach has helped preserve Pennsylvania as a true battleground state, prevented a full one-party takeover of state government, blocked damaging tax and energy policies, and strengthened a durable coalition of freedom-minded leaders in the state House and state Senate.
